NJ, USDr. Julie Goldman earned a B.A. in Political Science and a M.A. in Education from George Washington University. She also holds a Masters of Education and a Doctorate of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. After several years working in the Welfare-to-Work field, Dr. Goldman yearned for entrepreneurship. She was inspired to launch The Original Runner Company after her own wedding, and now provides the world with the first non-slip fabric aisle runners for weddings and special events.
After a decade in the industry, The Original Runner Company has sold millions of dollars of her unique aisle runners worldwide. Her celebrated creations have graced the weddings of Kim Kardashian, Kevin Jonas, Nicole Ritchie, Fergie & Josh Duhamel, Michael Jordan and Neil Diamond, to name a few. The overwhelming success of The Original Runner Company lead to an appearance on the TV show "Shark Tank," as well as the "Make Mine a Million" business award. Her business has been featured in over 200 magazines as well as Crain's NY Business, NY Daily News, NBC news, Lifetime Television, Oxygen, and Fox Business. Dr. Goldman celebrates this success with her wonderfully supportive husband David and adorable eight year old daughter, Jagger.
