Gordie Bufton was the ideal child growing up. Straight A student who won numerous academic awards every year, while also being a star athlete. He graduated High School and received an academic and golf scholarship to University where he became addicted to ecstasy. This drug quickly turned his life upside down and resulted in dropping out before finishing his first semester. He continued on this additive path for the next few years, which led to him spending his 20th birthday in jail, being homeless, and almost getting beaten to death within a span of three weeks. After getting clean he started experiencing mental illness as a result of his addictions. Labeled Bipolar, Schizophrenic, Manic Depressed, Psychotic and told by Psychiatrists he would be on prescription medication the rest of his life during 5 psych ward stays. He has been drug, alcohol, and medication free since April 22, 2010.
