Katy is a business development, change, branding, and emotional-intelligence expert who shows audiences how to grow with grace. She teaches teams and leaders how to embrace transition, elevate their brand, and inspire productivity and revenue—while deepening engagement, reducing bias, and increasing emotional intelligence across the organization.
A breast-cancer survivor, Katy knows firsthand how to transform challenge into purpose. She brings that same spirit to every stage, guiding audiences to step into what serves their highest good. Her work helps people uncover their unique story, emotional resonance, and natural joy—leading to measurable boosts in confidence, communication, and business results. And she makes the entire experience fun and unforgettable.
Katy invites organizations to explore powerful questions:
Are your leaders and employees equipped to grow through change? Are they engaged, aligned, and inspired by a values-based culture? Are they empowered to reduce risk and spark innovation? She helps organizations create intentional, holistic strategies that uplift people and performance.
Katy also reminds audiences that while IQ plateaus, EQ continues to rise—and it drives nearly half of our success in life and work. Companies with emotionally intelligent teams simply perform better. Because people buy connection first, content second, Katy teaches leaders how to resonate deeply, communicate authentically, and move others into action.
Her own journey began when she arrived in the U.S. with two suitcases, expecting to stay for two weeks—and ended up building a life. She put herself through law school, practiced securities law for 13 years, and then followed a calling to make an impact in a more human, creative way. For the past 12 years, she has helped individuals and organizations worldwide elevate their personal and professional brands through insight, warmth, and a truly magnetic presence.
Katy holds a JD from Indiana University, a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics, and is a member of the Indiana and DC Bars. She is the author of Emotional Resonance Factor® (2025) and Personal Branding in One Hour for Attorneys (2013), a former Chair of the ABA Law Practice Division, and is certified in the EQi emotional-intelligence assessment.
