Orit has come a long way since her childhood in Baghdad and after the tragic death of her father, a country that never ceased to be the attraction of political upheavals causing huge refugee dilemma. However, the advantage achieved from Orit's life experiences and the enormous benefits of living in four countries, exposed her to four cultures and languages has actually has enriched and broadened Orit's mind and has defined who she is today; very well educated and well rounded worldwide. Orit, with her husband Saul, operated a Floridian store and transformed it to a gold mine.
Shortly after 9/11 Orit found that people were interested in learning more about the history and politics of Iraq, which inspired her to create courses and workshops to meet public's needs for deeper knowledge and understanding of the Middle East. The enlightening project of "The Middle East Everything" was born, sharing her expertise about the history and politics of the Middle East.
A widely known and respected professional speaker she spoke numerous times in organizations, schools, groups, libraries and synagogues in Florida and Montreal. Her gripping book A River of Tears the River of Hope documenting a sad story of political upheaval, and strong uplifting re-settlement stories. Orit is committed to empower people help them breakthrough their own self-imposed boundaries feel free and fearless to re-build their goals and re-define their passion and purpose, create the opportunities they do have and triumph.
