VA, USDee Cascio is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. Dee enjoys working with individuals and couples to achieve healthier, successful and more satisfying lives. She founded the Professional Counseling and Life/ Retirement Coaching Center and has been in private practice since 1986. While Dee remains active in her psychotherapy practice, she has reduced her client hours to accommodate more time for her presentations and coaching career.
Dee is a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Retirement and Re-Career Coach. She is also a Board Certified Coach (BCC) by the Center for Credentialing and Education. As a coach, she enjoys supporting people who are working on creating the fulfilling life they desire. Using her psychotherapy training and experience, she helps her clients identify their individual strengths, interests, values and goals as she assists them in planning the exciting transition to their new retirement lifestyle.
As a ReCareer Coach, Dee has "walked her talk" by recareering from her successful psychotherapy practice to coaching. Her career path is based on the belief that life and careers take us through a series of important life transitions. She and her husband have both pursued encore careers that provide them with the freedom to spend time monthly in their second home in Florida while slowing down their previous careers in Virginia. Her post-retirement career is evidence that a creative lifestyle is possible if you plan well and are receptive to change and adventure.
