Josh Levs, known to millions for his work on TV, radio, and online, is a master moderator...
"Josh Levs blew us all away, and I have never seen anyone do a better job! EVER!!!!!" - Robyn Spizman, organizer, Global Purpose Summit 2013
...and an inspiring motivational speaker.
“Josh Levs is a dynamic, engaging speaker who is able to motivate his audience to challenge themselves to think critically of the world around them and act. He had a tremendous impact upon our 7-day leadership seminar, and our ambassadors continue to speak about his call to action.” - Emily Limarzi, organizer, HOBY World Leadership Congress 2012
He’s been called “Truth Seeker in Chief” and “Mr. Reality” on air at CNN for his ability to quickly fact check just about anything, particularly claims by politicians. Levs has also been called “The Explainer” for his expertise at making the most complex topics intelligible to mass audiences.
The non-partisan Yale graduate has interviewed political leaders, entertainers, CEOs, and everyday people around the country and the world. He’s also done a wide range of fun, lighthearted stories, and segments - and was even immortalized as a cartoon. No matter what the topic, Levs presents it with his signature probing, compassionate style.
At events around the country, he uses interactive images, video clips (see below), and more to address topics such as world affairs, truth in politics, harnessing the “modern major media,” and understanding emerging technologies.
His story. Levs also tells his own incredible story of doing the unheard of: creating the roles that put him at the highest levels of broadcast journalism. He also describes creating his own agency helping fellow men achieve the world’s greatest marriage proposals. “I’ve never applied for my dream jobs,” he says. “I’ve created them. You can too.”
Declared “one of the most social media-savvy journalists in broadcast news” by PBS MediaShift, Levs often shares videos and images of his events online, giving organizations that book him exposure to large audiences in cyberspace.
Fatherhood Columnist. A married father of two (soon to be three), Levs has become a leading voice on modern fatherhood. He describes delivering his son - who wasn’t breathing at first - in an emergency. He writes columns and hosts segments focused on fatherhood as part of HLN’s Raising America.
Awards. Levs has won six Peabody Awards, two Edward R. Murrow Awards, and top honors from the National Association of Black Journalists, the Society of Professional Journalists, and many more organizations. The press club named him a journalist of the year in Atlanta, where he lives, and a scholarship was given in his name at Yale. Levs has been featured in Reader’s Digest, People, Oprah Radio, Modern Luxury,Mediabistro, and more.
