
Claes Nobel
Claes Nobel, a senior member of the Swedish Nobel family and a relative of Dr. Alfred Nobel, is a renowned champion of: Environmental Stewardship, Earth Ethics, The Culture of Universal Peace, and Youth Leadership. He continues his family legacy of recognizing outstanding leadership and excellence. He founded United Earth in 1974 www.unitedearth.us, The National Society (NSHSS) of High School Scholars in 2002 www.nshss.org. and www.worldpeaceone.org in 2012.
Mr. Nobel is a featured, national and international speaker on various subjects and ways to create: Environmental Sustainability, Population Growth Stability, Alleviation of Hunger and Poverty, Global Transformation, how to have “Peace on Earth” and The Global Transformation Power of “Earth Ethics.”
In 1978 Claes Nobel drafted “The Nobel Laureates Declaration on the Survival of Mankind,” signed by 78 Nobel Laureates advocating support for environmental protection and humanitarian leadership. In 1985 he authored “The Global Declaration of Earth Ethics” calling for common sense and common action for our common future.
United Earth has conducted two Earth Prize Ceremonies. 1991 in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations and in 1992 at The John F. Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts, Washington, DC. CNN called these prestigious awards “The Green Nobels.”
NSHSS is rapidly becoming a leading youth honor society with over 800.000 members in 180 countries. Mr. Nobel strongly believes in: The Power of Youth for World Betterment, Universal Peace and Environmental Sustainability. NSHSS has established Strategic Partnerships with leading U.S. Corporations, National and International Universities, The U.S. Department of State and The Department of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
