UT, USGlenda Christiaens is the President of the American Holistic Nurses Association and holds an advanced certification in holistic nursing. She has traveled the country extensively, giving presentations about stress management, positive thinking, integrative healthcare, and wellness. She is a Registered Nurse who taught nursing at Brigham Young University for 10 years before becoming the Dean of Nursing at Fortis College in Salt Lake City. She was the host of the Glenda the Good Nurse talk radio show where she took calls and interviewed experts in integrative healing.
Dr. Christiaens holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Community Health Nursing and a PhD in Nursing. She began her nursing career as a school nurse before becoming an educator. Although she enjoyed her many years of teaching and administration in higher education, she wanted to teach more people tools for healthy living, so she launched her Glenda the Good Nurse speaking career.
