Karen Hope is one of Alberta's accomplished marketing experts with a successful food related entrepreneurial background who is currently assisting agri-related businesses with launch and expansion.

After receiving a degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University Karen Hope spent her first 10 years working in the retail industry holding various Marketing Director positions in Edmonton and Calgary.  She has independently started marketing departments and developed marketing plans for many types and sizes of business.  Over the years, she has honed a unique, special talent for being able to develop and implement marketing programs that serve to achieve corporate objectives.   In 1998, Karen co-pioneered a second company called Cattle Boyz Foods Ltd, where she worked for 11 years as the Managing Partner overseeing the operations and marketing.  She experienced first-hand what it is like to start a business from scratch and grow sales into the millions.  Karen has worked directly with grocery retailers ranging from Costco and Walmart to Safeway and Sobeys.  She now consults, offering her unique set of skills to agri-related companies who require guidance and orientation within the industry to launch and/or expand their product awareness and sales.  She is also knowledgeable of the Federal and Provincial Agricultural programs offering grants, training and business development financial support.
