Publisher of TV App Market, founder of The Hackfest (both acquired in 2013) and global expert on Media & TV innovation, Kastelein is an award winning publisher & entrepreneur. He has guest lectured at MIT Media Lab, Oxford University, & the University of Koln - sat on media convergence panel at 2nd EU Digital Assembly in Brussels and worked with broadcasters such as the BBC, ABC, CBC, NPO, RTL (DE and NL), Eurosport, NBCU, C4, ITV, Liberty Global, Seven Network and others on media convergence strategy (Social TV, OTT, VOD, DLNA & 2nd Screen).
Kastelein has judged hundreds of startups for the European Commission Horizon 2020 and UK Technology Board funding programmes.
He's a Fellow of the UK Royal Society of Arts (RSA) and UK Royal Television Society (RTS) member.

He's a columnist at The Association for International Broadcasting and writes for Wired Insights, Guardian & Virgin and his work and ideas have been translated into Dutch, Greek, Polish, German and French.
