Gloria Thomas
Gloria Thomas is known as The Communication Wizard. She is the founder and chief communication strategist of Wizard Workforce Development, a communication consulting, coaching and training company. Gloria is the pioneer creator of the Communication Without Limits Method, which helps individuals and organizations build the highest level of communication, leadership, customer service and presentation skills, in the least amount of time.
Gloria taught professional development programs for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the University of Richmond from 1995-2012. In 2010 she received their "Most Valuable Professor" (MVP) Award.
She has more than 20 years of experience in business, including sales, sales training and management. She received numerous awards, including a national leadership award naming her "Sales Manager of the Year."
Gloria published many articles as a freelance journalist and worked with a variety of Virginia state and community projects through the Urban Partnership, the YWCA and HUD's Hope VI program.
Gloria's book, Communication Without Limits: Engaged, Productive, High-Morale Workforces Made Easy will be published in the fall of 2015. This book details the unique approach she uses to help individuals significantly improve communication and customer service. Believing in the power and potential of people to connect, Wizard's motto is, There's Magic in Everyone (R).
Gloria was the 2005-06 President of the Virginia Chapter of NSA. The following year she developed the Chapter's mentoring program. In 2011 she became the fourth member to receive The Legacy Founder's Award, making her a lifetime member.
Her family includes her husband Chris, their two grown sons and two magical little dogs named Lexi and Nina, who are skilled communicators and have Gloria very well trained.
