After working in management positions with Walt Disney World, Gap and Apple, Mr. Braathe founded his company in October 2005 in CT.
He has taught at Skidmore College, SUNY Delhi, and three area community colleges in courses that include hospitality, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Today, his company, Braathe Enterprises manages projects in marketing, human resources and social media through a unique program called The Braathe Enterprises Virtual Internship Program.
This program provides companies with consulting while offering college students the opportunity to gain real world experience through virtual internships. Since 2011, over 100 students have participated.
Mr. Braathe received his MBA from Western Connecticut State University and his Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality from UMass. In addition, he has taken PhD level courses from The University at Albany and Northcentral University
He is the President of The Consulting Alliance, a premier association of independent consultants a member of the Board of Advisors for Launch Your Life and has assisted in launching and mentoring small businesses and entrepreneurs.
