Bill has first-hand hand work experience in support of his research. It was garnered from his role as Chief Human Resources Officer for Andersen Consulting's Business Process Outsourcing Division and as Executive Vice president for Right Management responsible for 60 offices, three franchise territories in the United States and Canada. He also served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the University of Pennsylvania
Holland attended Michigan State University on a football scholarship and earned his PhD from there in political science. As a graduate teaching assistant he received recognition for excellence-in-teaching and later became a member of the research and teaching faculty at the University of California, Riverside.
He has served on the board of directors of numerous organizations including the Chicago Chamber of Commerce and the Pennsylvania Partnership for Children.
