You will leave Liz's talks with new ways of understanding your workplace challenges, 'hands on' strategies to solve your work-related challenges immediately. Her talks are high energy, dynamic, very fast paced and interactive - prepare to think, interact, learn and have fun!

Liz's CEO clients rave about her keynotes and facilitated sessions --

Liz's ability to speak extemporaneously, honestly, and with sensitivity, is remarkable.  She brought a great deal of energy to every day’s presentation, kept a lively pace, and clearly had a command of her subject.  Most memorable is Dr. Berney’s sense of humor that made participants comfortable and more able to look at their behaviors both kindly and critically.

Liz’s high-energy, vast knowledge and can do attitude makes her a pleasure to work with. With Liz's keen insight and funny, fast-paced delivery, the time sped by. Liz is one of those speakers who can make you laugh, make you cry, but most of all, make you want to be better at what you do."

Liz is an engaging and entertaining speaker, and more importantly, she is extremely knowledgeable in her field. We received positive comments from every staff member about her sessions. I think it is most revealing however, that the staff continues to reference points/comments/suggestions that Liz made during her sessions over a year after the first one occurred.

In addition to her uncanny ability to make the complex simple and understandable, she is able to listen well to the needs of her audience and then tailor the program material to those needs. She is in no way a canned speaker.

Dr. Berney has been awarded the Top 5 Speaker on Teams and Leadership, along with Stephen Covey by Speakers Platform and the Teaching Excellence Award for her powerful and dynamic teaching at the University of Maryland. She is a regular Instructor for Wharton Business School's Executive Education Programs both nationally and internationally and a Past Instructor for the American Management Association (Coaching and Counseling for Leaders), George Washington University's Accelerated MBA Program (Teams and Leadership) and Georgetown University's Organization Development Certificate Program which she founded, designed and directed.

She has provided keynotes to Coca Cola, Tropicana, Thomson Prometric, UATP, Dun & Bradstreet, the U.S. Department of Labor's Senior Executive Service, Tech Data, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, BP, Sheraton Hotels, Crestline Hotels, Marriott, CISCO, Society of Women Engineers, Society of Actuaries, Hughes Network Systems, Fannie Mae, MITRE and Quaker Oats, among many others.

She has consulted to the Billl and Melinda Gates Foundation, the U.S. House of Representatives, Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, Crestline Hotels, Marriott, Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Raytheon, NASA, World Bank, American Institute of Architects, FINCA, Human Rights First, Academy Health, Human Rights First and National Public Radio, among many others.

She has a B.A. in Psychology with Honors and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University ofMaryland, where she was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award and was chosen for the Academy of Management's Assistant Professor Practicum. Recent articles include “The Co-Creation of Conflict” in Yes You Can!: Reaching Your Potential While Achieving Greatness (with Warren Bennis), the Society of Actuaries Stepping Stone, the Law Office Administrator and the Medical Office Manager. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, American Psychological Association’s Monitor, Washington Woman and the Law Office Administrator.
