Jacob Onyschuk

AB, CANADA
Jacob has a BSC in Agriculture and is present working on a major in Animal Science.

Agriculture – Jacob has been involved with farming all his life, but has only lived on a farm since high school. Since that time, he has become incredibly involved with all aspects of agriculture. He has been a member of our local 4-H clubs for 4 years and was the winner of the 2012 Premiers Award. He has participated in many agricultural conferences across the nation and he is currently helping organize a international youth agriculture conference in August of 2013 with the focus on feeding the growing world population. Once graduated from University, his goal is to farm and be a primary producer while still working and actively involved in industry. Beef is his passion, but it's a well known fact that Jacob loves "everything" agriculture.

Leadership – Ever since he was young, Jacob has always taken on leadership roles in anything that he was involved in.  Jacob enjoys taking on leadership positions and working with other young leaders to help them be successful. Whether it's in 4-H or other local organizations, he always finds it enjoyable.

Arts/Music – Prior to moving to the farm, Jacob was a competitive dancer for 14 years.  He then traveled to New York City and Philadelphia to perform and take classes.  Jacob also went to Victoria Comp in Edmonton for the arts program and was a dedicated performer for many years.
