As a marketing, branding, and business development professional, Luis Tavel has delivered consistently positive returns for the past three decades working with companies in telecommunications, banking & finance, and in higher education. Luis has worked with industry and community leaders throughout the United States on numerous projects that have had real impact. From strategy to partnership development, he has designed, delivered, and implemented creative, credible, and effective initiatives that employers value. Luis has learned that true market success is built around understanding what your market and customers value and in building a strong professional image.

In 2010, Luis launched Essential Image - an Image Consulting firm dedicated to helping people present the best possible image at work and in their personal lives. He has spoken throughout the country at national conferences, corporate events, and professional associations. He received Media Training from ABC News and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters International the Association of Image Consultants International, and Fashion Group International.

Luis studied Communications at the University of Colorado at Denver, Criminal Justice at Regis University, and holds a Masters of Public Affairs.

Luis is a native of La Paz, Bolivia, and a proud U.S. citizen since 1988. He is married to Heather and lives in Parker, Colorado with their dogs George, Milo, and Murphy. Luis has a passion for languages and speaks Italian in addition to his native Spanish. He and his wife are both musicians and also enjoy running, triathlon competitions, and golf.
