My passion and purpose is working with the non profit community with a dedication to providing “Solutions for Long Term Success”. I love going to work each day knowing there will be a new challenge so I can use my training, facilitation and speaking skills.
Since 2003, the focus of my consulting practice has been capacity building with technical expertise in social enterprise training, sustainability planning, developing business and strategic plans, board development, volunteer management and grant writing.
My community service has included leadership roles on the Boards of the United Way of Hillsborough County, United Cerebral Palsy, Hillsborough County Civil Service Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, University of South Florida Women In Leadership and Philanthropy, Executive Women’s Golf Association, Commission on the Status of Women and the League of Women Voters.
My professional affiliations include The National Speaker’s Association, the leading organization for speakers; Social Enterprise Alliance, the premier source of learning, knowledge and advocacy of social enterprise for non profit organizations; BoardSource, which is dedicated to advancing the public good by building exceptional nonprofit boards and inspiring board service; and the Grant Professionals Association, the recognized leader for grant writing professionals.
I'm a graduate from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a graduate of the University of Tampa with a degree in Computer Science.
I love the game of golf and how it humbles me when I least expect it. If you ever want to really get to know someone, spend four hours on the golf course with them. Their values, attitude and the way they conduct their business will be demonstrated.
