Belinda Faulkner
B.App.Sc
NSW, AUSTRALIABelinda Faulkner was born the youngest of three children to a family of bookworms in Sydney, Australia in 1970. Her family's idea of fun was reading.
Known as the smiley girl to many it is her energy and sense of fun that has seen her become the favourite adult for many friends' children. Belinda is always ready with a game, a story, or a balloon animal.
Belinda took up the trombone as a joke in high school. A joke that saw her perform with Sydney Schools Symphony Orchestra, in the inaugural year of SBS Youth Orchestra and put herself through university teaching kids to play.
She began working with pastels at home, going on to win several local art awards and selling the majority of her work.
On a quest to save the world from disease she studied Biomedical Science and got her first research job milking bullants, ironically in the hope of synthesising an antibiotic. Her career from there has been a varied and unique path to accepting the best way to save the world from disease is to spread joy and happiness. Feeling good and happy, laughing and enjoying life is being the best you can be.
That is why Belinda now chooses to entertain with stand up comedy and be the balloon sculpting, clowning, story spinning life of the party and sharing her stories, skills and expertise for the good dof all.
