Kelsey Dawn Beasley

I am a rancher's wife; I grew up in agriculture and married into a third generation ranching family. Prior to ranching, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Saskatchewan.

I have always had an intense interest in biology, ecology, rangeland science, animal science, nutrition and genetic. I have strived to implement these interests into a sustainable systems model for land stewardship. I also take particular enjoyment in animal husbandry and stockmanship and public perception of food and agriculture.

I believe, as a society our actions have a profound, cumulative effect on our economy, the environment and the people within and therefore we all need to be accountable for our decisions and actions, as the results are resonated throughout tomorrow and into the future generations. I emphasize integrity, innovation, education, knowledge, collaboration, commitment, excellence, experience and respect in my personal philosophy and principles. I strive to continue learning, gaining knowledge and experiences so as to broaden my perspective as well as inspiring others to do so as well.
