Her urban socialization and an elite education at a women's college provide the unique perspectives on corporate culture, diversity and inclusion, leadership, change, women, and communication. She is a gifted writer/poet and listener of the human heart. She was invited by the White House to teach public speaking mastery to presidential appointees. She is a finalist for the elite designation as an Accredited Speaker with Toastmasters international.

Audiences who hear Tamara Hamilton leave inspired to tap into their invisible power and take bold steps to have difficult conversations. With expertise in the art of personal mastery and the effective use of self, she brings intellectual depth, professional knowledge and real life experiences to helping people grow into their own power. Her platform skills have won awards from Toastmasters International in the motivation speaking and humorous speaking categories.
Tamara has been invited to speak at the Korean Council of Overseas Schools for two consecutive years. She also speaks to audiences on U.S. military bases in Germany, Japan, and Korea. Her most requested program is Strategic Leadership Development. Her message focuses attention on inclusion, whole person development in a spirit of collaboration and self discovery.
Her high level expertise in communication was developed at the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California. Her area of inquiry and mastery is message management.
She also received a master's degree in African Studies and Research from Howard University. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program and the Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University.
She spent most of her career in different aspects of public education: as a middle school teacher in Germany, a college instructor and administrator, and an employee union field representative. She was recruited and hired by the National Education Association to write new national training and development programs. Some of her stellar training programs are still currently used across the country. She led the design teams and wrote: Effective Facilitation Skills, Diversity and Inclusion, the NEA Career Development Program, Executive Leadership Development, and Mediation for Better Schools.
The Germany Chapter of the NAACP honored her with a lifetime educational achievement award named for Donald Thomas, a Tuskegee Airman and teacher for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools.
Tamara teaches online seminars on facilitating conversations on race, diversity, and inclusion. She emphasizes personal mastery, leadership, and empowerment. As a service to her community, she teaches (over the Internet) college readiness classes for inner city youth at the Drew League Foundation in Los Angeles.
