I was born and raised in Lae, Papua New Guinea (P.N.G) and migrated to Australia in 1973.
Growing up in P.N.G with pioneering parents was an incredible experience - a Father who was a Captain of the Air and the Sea and a Mother who collected and dealt in rare Primitive Art - greatly enhanced my sense of adventure, openness of mind and respect for cultural differences.
From the age of ten, I began living my dream as an Entrepreneur and my inherent gift as a Pioneering Woman.
Throughout the past 38 Years my Professional Journey has been unique and amazing.
Arriving in Australia aged 16 on my own, with no job, and very little money,
I lived in my car for a time travelling across this vast country (Australia). With the pantry on the roof rack, I set off looking for a place to settle and find my roots.
I could only do one thing and that was to follow my dreams!
My accomplishments:
*Makeup and Hair Designer in the Film, TV and Events industry, from 1974 to 1990 which also included setting up the first full Image centre in QLD in 1985 ( long before Day Spas were heard of)
*Launching the first Speakers bureau in QLD 1991 to 1994 where I marketed keynote Speakers and Entertainers to the Corporate Conferencing Industry.
In 1994 my ex-husband and I together launched an International Business focused on Pioneering and Start Ups in Intellectual Property worldwide.
From 1994 until 2009 I sat as a Founder and Director of a Global Public Company and lived in the US ( Silicon Valley) the UK ( London) Hong Kong and globe trotted doing business in France, Malaysia, and Thailand.

THEY COULDN'T FEED THEIR KIDS, WHO WERE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR...because of me!
This was emailed to my entire address book as THEY ( faceless criminals at this time) began to hack into our computers!
I am a victim of Online Blackmail, Extortion, Slander and Stalking.
Here's My Story spanning, 2008- 2010 and which even continues today.
So here goes. This is not going to be easy as when one has been a victim of online blackmail, extortion and very bad press, one is a bit resistant to go back over it all again...... very, very painful.
I am still recovering from the fall out and damage that this has impacted onto my life.
Your may ask how could this have happened and why?
This was difficult to identify, let alone answer as there was neither "rhyme nor reason" so to speak.
Our UK Agent called us to say that he had signed up a new project, something to do with the music industry online. However, after speaking with his client, he became extremely concerned as the client announced that he had borrowed the deposit from a 'Drug Lord' friend of his and heaven help us if we didn't capitalize his project....!!!
Our CEO in London at the time agreed with us that to refund the clients deposit was the correct way to proceed as we didn't feel comfortable with continuing this business arrangement under these circumstances.
They met, a release form was signed and the deposit refunded in full.
We didn't give it another thought until ....!
Over the next few months we began to notice some quite strange occurrences, like potential clients happy with our proposals, ready to proceed and then nothing. Just complete silence. After this happened several times, one of our associates emailed to say they had seen some defamatory information posted on the internet about DBA
and enquired as to "What was it all about?"
Then the email arrived from the client who was refunded his deposit, posing as someone important with a request for large sums of money ... we recognized this was EXTORTION and our first response was, You're kidding, go away we have followed the rules and don't wish to work with you.!
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!
What happened next will amaze you.....!
The bomb had dropped with Blackmail, Extortion, Slander and a Stalking Campaign lasting a full 18 months, and still having an impact on our lives today.
In summary, our computers and email addresses were hacked and letters from he and his wife were sent out claiming that due to DBA and myself in particular "THEY COULDN'T FEED THEIR KIDS, WHO WERE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR........."!
Our web site was hacked and videos were posted onto You Tube, over -loaded with damaging slander. Every search engine was loaded with damning remarks, lies and wilful intentions.
Our Associates, Advisory Board Members, Stakeholders Agents as well as ourselves were all personally targeted.
One posting claimed that one of our Advisory Board members HAD THREATENED TO COME OVER AND KILL HIM (THE BLACKMAILER) AND HIS KIDS.... !
This was when the Minister of Defence (at the time) was informed, as the gentleman involved was himself attached to the Defence Department.
If I could create a visual, it would have looked like the pictures from the movie "King Kong "rampaging through the city, crushing buildings, and people running and screaming in terror. The intimidation was out of control.
We knew who this was, and try as we might we couldn't get him to stop the damaging postings online.
Trying to get help from the Australian Federal police, the UK Police, Interpol, the CIA, letters to Google, Rip-off, U tube, and the list goes on ....was futile!
No one COULD or WOULD do anything as our blackmailer was now hiding in the Mauritius Islands which was out of every ones jurisdiction.
We paid thousands to lawyers, reputation repair groups, and still.... no one could help us, or our disintegrating reputation which we had valued so highly.
Then after six months of relentless bombardment something changed: the writing, and the spelling was different.
Individuals within our group were being targeted, personal information that would not be known by anyone outside our organization was being posted and all of a sudden we recognized that we had a MOLE in the camp, but whom???
NO ONE WAS SAFE ANY MORE FROM THIS ONLINE BALCKMAILLING, SLANDER AND STALKING CAMPAIGN.
Needless to say, The losses to my company and myself, both personally and professionally were massive....

Today 2012, fully recovered and stronger than ever and I am stepping out to share my story with a new venture.
