Jenipher has her own compelling life story of overcoming insurmountable odds. While she has been touched by some of the greatest challenges in life - including political violence, domestic violence, poverty, and grief - instead of being crushed and being a victim, she has emerged with an indomitable spirit and a strong desire to leave this world a better place than when she entered it. This desire led her to leave the corporate world and transition to educating, advising, and motivational speaking. She is the founder of Anchored Advisory Services (https://anchoredadvisory.com).
Jenipher is a results-driven leadership advisor and inspirational speaker. She brings a combination of strong technical expertise, flexibility, creativity, resilience, industry, academic, and life experiences, uniquely blended and unparalleled by most. She has over 15 years of professional experience, including leadership roles in the oil and gas industry and over 5 years teaching university accounting courses as an Instructor, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor. She has been an Independent Instructor for CPA, Alberta, and has taught Professional Development Courses related to auditing and review engagements. Currently, a PhD in Leadership Candidate, she holds a BCom (Honours in Marketing), an MBA, a CPA, a CMA, a Diploma in University Teaching, and a Certificate in Adult Education Foundations – Teaching and Learning. Her PhD research is focused on exploring how emotional intelligence affects the career success of accountants.
