Lance Brown is a living testament to his "Creating Opportunities" philosophy and presentations. .Growing up in Mitchells Plain, a Cape Town suburb where dreams rarely stretch beyond one's street corner, Lance dared to reach for the stars. From the small seed of a basic job as a filing clerk and a delivery driver in his twenties, he discovered an aptitude for taxation and a road to a bighter world. He worked hard to earn a finance degree part-time and is now a tax consultant for one of the worlds leading financial services organisation.
Lance's talents and goals have branched out and touched many. He has given presentations in London on the South African tax system and has featured in articles on a variety of issues. His talk, "The Small Leap From Suspect to Success" was presented at the 2013 TEDx Table Mountain coference.
Lance is an author of the books "The Driver of Change" and "Being in the Right Place at the Right Time is a Planned Strategy" which are aimed at inspiring individuals and corporate teams to create opportunities, instead of waiting for them to happen.
