Dorianne Cara Weil is a Clinical and Organizational Psychologist with over 25 years in hospital, private and corporate practice.
"Dr. D" is a household name in South Africa. A recognised voice for many years, she is renowned as SA's leading media psychologist whose live radio shows deal with any and every, life challenging and self development topic. She currently hosts her show "On the couch" on Chai FM 101.9 every Wednesday at 7pm.
Dori appears and is quoted regularly in print and electronic media. She is currently the regular psychologist for SABC 3Talk and numerous TV appearances including; "CNN International" and "NBC" have endeared her at home and abroad. Her own TV series - Positive Leap - reached number one. Carte Blanche has appointed her to present topics of psychological importance on an ongoing basis.
Her work in industry includes mediation, executive coaching and workshop facilitation concerned with the creation of "Cholesterol Free Companies" and creating an internal morale and support system. Clients include most of the top listed companies in South Africa, including Anglo American, South African Breweries, Sasol, Investec, Vodacom and a host of others.

Dori has received recognition for outstanding contribution to the betterment of the lives of people and South African society. In 2008, she was awarded SA's Most Influential Women Lifetime Achiever, in Business and Government (CEO Magazine) and in June 2009 was the winner of the ABSA Jewish Achiever Cyril Harris Humanitarian award. She is the recipient of several other awards including the International Rotary Paul Harris award and is a Trustee for the Tomorrow Trust, educating aids orphans. Other contributions include the development of emotional intelligence programmes utilised in South African schools and Majors for Minors CDs focusing on brain food for kids.
She is an animatrix, a story teller, a passionate and compassionate life participant who enjoys interior design, exciting cooking, music and art. She is married and considers her greatest achievement to be the mother of 15 year old twins - Dean Harrison and Jemma-Claire.
