KWAZULU-NATAL, SAWendy Syers is the founder of Wendy Syers Training and of Applause, a branch of the organisation that specializes in communication skills.
She is a SpeakersTrainingCamp® instructor with International certification. She is the first South African to have attended this course in the USA and to achieve International certification. Wendy is proud to have introduced this award-winning program to South Africa.
Wendy has ten years training experience and started Wendy Syers Training in 2003 as an organisation delivering First Aid Training.The organisation has full accreditation and extended its scope to include Assessor, Moderator and Facilitator training. Prior to starting her own business she had a nursing career that culminated in her holding the position of Medical Manager at International SOS Assistance Johannesburg.
She joined Toastmasters International four years ago as a means to improving her training skills. This sparked her interest in presentation skills and public speaking and moving into this area of specialization has been a natural progression.
She is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa.
