As Co-founder and President of Shari's Promise, Inc., A non-profit organization whose mission is to stop child sexual abuse any way we can, educate communities on how to recognize the signs of abuse, and react responsibly.  Shari Hammond facilitates very powerful workshops and presentations to organizations who serve youth, faith based organizations, sports organizations,parent groups, and at child abuse and neglect conferences. 

Prior to Shari's Promise, Shari Hammond worked as a beauty professional for 20 years, 10 years as the owner/operator of George of New York Hair Design in Columbia Maryland. Shari lead, mentored and coached over 30 employees at a time.  After her daughter disclosed sexual abuse within the family, Shari decided to take her business experience and passion into the area of non-profit.  Shari's passion and knowledge joined with her authentic and spirited presence is very effective at facilitating change around the world.

Shari is also a spiritual practitioner student, and vice president of the board of trustees at her local Center for Spiritual Living where you can find her shinning as the Master of Ceremonies, leading the celebrations prayers at the podium, or giving an inspirational talk. 

Shari lives in the Baltimore,Maryland area with her husband and three children.
