Ms. Armstrong's, core expertise includes Workshops and Training's in Personal & Professional Development she has several years of experience as an adviser, manager, author, and lecturer, which provides her with a unique integrated perspective that is needed in today's complex environmental challenges and innovative demands that will improve the quality of life. She currently serves as the Vice President of American Association of Blacks in Energy-Baltimore Chapter, and is an active board member of the Environmental Justice Partnership, and studied Construction Supervision and Paralegal Studies, at Baltimore City Community College. Ms. Armstrong has also, obtained several industry certifications in sustainability management/planning, and energy efficiency. She continues to stay ahead of this fast pasted, growing green/energy industry by, also completing her certification in biomass/energy and solar PV contracting and sales credentials.
Ms. Armstrong is a visionary with a passion for the environment, community relations & empowerment, and stakeholder engagement, she has more than 15 years of community and business development. Because of her involvement with environmental advocacy and community development, she realized there was a direct connection between environmental hazards, air quality and pollution in the community, these known elements have a direct impact on health disparities predominately "ASTHMA", which is an epidemic amongst children in urban communities. Moreover, there is an overwhelming disconnect between physicians, patient education, compliance, and technology. Therefore Ms. Armstrong established The Abeona Group, Inc in 2012 as a social-enterprise to fulfill a need and address a "painful" problem in health disparities by developing innovative telehealth products and clean energy solutions.
Ms. Armstrong is the proud mother of three beautiful children, two grandchildren and she enjoys, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her immediate family.
