The Independent Petroleum Association of New Mexico was fortunate enough to have Mr. Steve Goreham as our keynote speaker at our 2014 Annual Convention. Steve's presentation, "Upheaval--Coming Changes in Energy and Climate Regulation," was a tremendous success and a highlight of our convention. The response from our attendees was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Steve has a phenomenal grasp of the science and the data and he possesses a gifted ability to deliver the facts in an extremely engaging and non-confrontational manner. It was completely refreshing to hear thoughtful, scientific analysis delivered with humor as opposed to the emotionally-driven, ill-informed hysteria that too often drowns out useful debate in regard to these issues. In contrast, Steve's presentation spawned conversation and reflection throughout the remainder of our time at the convention. For anyone interested in hearing a thoughtful, informed presentation regarding issues affecting climate and energy policy, I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Steve. His ability to deliver factual, scientific information in a humorous and engaging manner far exceeded our expectations. It is our hope that we will have the opportunity to hear from Steve again at a future event.
