ONE GREAT SPEAKER WITH TWO GREAT PRESENTATIONS ON TWO VERY DIFFERENT TOPICS: "LESSONS FROM A YOUNG SOLDIER'S LIFE" AND "HOW TO PREPARE FOR AND PROFIT FROM THE AGING OF AMERICA"

Topic #1:     "LESSONS FROM A YOUNG SOLDIER'S LIFE"

March 4, 2005 - U.S. Army Captain Sean Grimes had to survive one more week dodging enemy bombs and bullets in the deadliest part of Iraq before going home on leave. He was a Physician Assistant, with skills similar to an Emergency Room doctor, and he would spend the day volunteering to accompany a combat patrol on the dirt road near the Euphrates canal. In his six months in Iraq he had been attacked by rockets, bullets and bombs and had seen his men wounded and killed but he had helped save many American and Iraqi lives.

In the predawn darkness of March 4th, a group of Iraqi men headed towards the dirt road that ran along the Euphrates canal. Some carried shovels while others took turns carrying a large object. All were mindful of the time. They needed to bury the object before the sun came up.

Captain Sean Grimes, U.S. Army, was the first U.S. military Physician Assistant to be killed in combat.

This presentation is ideal for associations, businesses, colleges, churches and veteran/civic groups.
