As an actress, her 3rd solo show, 'Florence Nightingale: The Reluctant Celebrity,' an edutaining and inspiring look into the life and times of one of history's most influential women, was off-Broadway in 2023, and audiences in the US and three other countries, have given rave reviews.
Candy co-founded an improv and stand-up comedy group, 'The Barely Insane Players,' in the San Francisco area, which led to teaching applied improv (since 1995), a doctorate on interprofessional communication and collaboration using applied improv, several books, and three solo shows.
