DrC Is THE Intercultural Motivator. His Kultural Kung Fu Presentations Take You from Cultural Confusion To Cultural Competency In Six E-Z Steps.

Charismatic, internationally recognized Intercultural, Diversity, and International Business Management Subject Matter Expert/Authority (SMEA) with over twenty years of successfulplatform speaking, instruction, and media engagement.

He holds a BS in Journalism, MS in International Human Resource Management, and a Ph.D. in US-Latin America Diplomatic History.

For nearly a decade, Dr. C, a former military officer, worked in the US Special Operations community for almost a decade directing the only Cross-Cultural Communications course in the Department of Defense.

His Intercultural Competency Keynote presentations and training programs are academically spot-on, engaging, and hard to forget. He always includes real-world anecdotes from the never-boring cross-cultural world. For instance:

ORGANIZATIONALLY EMBARRASSING THINGS: A new US embassy worker in Latin America is moving through a reception line. He shakes the hand of a woman who suddenly leans forward (for the traditional "air kiss" welcome). He freezes momentarily, then, begins shouting at her that he "was glad to be here." He later explained, "I thought she was deaf."

PERSONALLY EMBARRASSING MOMENTS: He, Mrs. Culture and about twenty other breakfast buffet consumers were loading their plates in Copenhagen, DK. Dr. C innocently commented (but loud enough for all to hear) "Hey, babe, look at all the Danish here." The room went silent.

His routinely speaks to international businesses, military and government agencies including US and International Special Forces audiences. He regularly presents at National Defense University, the US Army War College, AF Special Operations Language-Culture Center and several universities with international students.

He is the author of the popular "Dr. Culture's Newsletter" -- a subscription publication written for non-US university students or employees. In it, Dr. C outlines American Cultural characteristics and describes US historical events and activities for each month. He also produces "Dr. Culture Radio" -- a monthly half-hour broadcast discussing US events and explaining American Cultural components such as Individualism or Equality.

His first book, "America's Japanese Hostages" exposed a Top Secret US WWII program in which Latin Americans of Japanese background (mainly, Peruvians) were kidnapped, brought to the US and traded for American POWs. His next book, "Kultural Kung Fu: Dr. Culture Unlocks The Secrets of American Culture," will be released late-2018.
