A qualified marketing professional with over 20 years marketing experience and expertise, Ailsa specialises in the services and small business sectors. She is an Fellow and Certified Practising Marketer of the Australian Marketing Institute and is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and the Melbourne Business School with qualifications in psychology, management and training & assessment.


Previously, Ailsa worked in marketing and senior management positions for organisations such as Bicycle Victoria, the Conservation Council of Victoria (now Environment Victoria) and The CEO Institute. As Director of Marketing for the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz from 2000-2003, Ailsa was responsible for developing its profile as a multi-award-winning, internationally-recognised festival, achieving the status of a Tourism Victoria Hallmark Event.
A passionate supporter of small business, Ailsa has acted as marketing and business coach in the Women in Business Program, Business Planning Assistance Program, Artists in Business Program, Grow Your Business Online and Skilling Small Business for the Future and as a Small Business Mentor and lecturer at Victoria University. Recognised as an expert in her field, Ailsa is a judge for the Telstra Business Awards and a panel judge for the Telstra Women's Business Awards. In 2009 Ailsa was awarded the Star Women in Business Professional and Business Services category. Currently delivering the Digital Enterprise Program for the City of Greater Shepparton, Ailsa who describes herself as a 'reluctant technology enthusiast' is making an impact on business and farm owners across Victoria.
