In her private life Julie is a passionate martial artist. She has a 1st dan black belt in Kyokushinkai Karate and is a former British silver medallist. She also has a 3rd dan black belt in Chun do Kwan Taekwondo and is an enthusiastic, unsuccessful, boxer.
