Carla Fotev is the Director of the Emergency Support Network and a Registered Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Psychology, Diploma of Education, and a Licensed Inquiry Agent, among her other qualificationbs. Published in Peer Support, Neuropsychology and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, she is well qualified to specialise in faciliting training and consulting interventions into people risk management issues such as stress resiliency, peer support, crisis management, conflict and grievance resolution, interpersonal dynamics, neuropsychology, organisational behaviour, effective management skills, risk management, diversity, bullying and harassment and change management. Carla has over twenty years experience in consulting, investigations, interventions and training to promote well being and engagement.
As an independent consultant, Carla has implemented a range of interventions including consultative reviews of organisational risk, focus group sessions, individual and team conflict resolution processes, mediation and alternative dispute resolution strategies, management coaching to resolve staff issues and substandard performance, management of employee mental health issues, and crisis intervention. She is a qualified investigator and well versed in all aspects of OSH and HR legislation and employee intervention processes. As a trainer and conference presenter, Carla creates and facilitates meaningful and practical skills based training programs across all key people risk management areas. All programs incorporate the latest in positive psychology and adult learning strategies to promote interaction, fun and the immediate application of learning back into the workplace. Carla's industry experience spans State Government, local Government and private sector organisations including health services, mining and resource sector, ship building, community welfare, disability services, indigenous, aged care, transport and utilities, insurance, education and training, legal services, industrial relations, and recruitment organisations.
She serves in a voluntary capacity as Director / Deputy Chairperson for the Board of Stirling Skills Training Inc. and Management Committee Member of Crisis Intervention and Management Australasia. Previously she was the Communication Manager of the WA Chapter Leadership Team for the National Speakers Association of Australia. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, is a Certified Professional Member of the Human Resources Institute, Professional Member of National Speakers Association of Australia, and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
