When Georgian College, The University Partnership Program, Seneca College and BNI Canada wanted to learn more about online communication, they brought in Josh Muirhead. Recognized for his passionate, multi-faceted approach to communicating business values effectively online, Josh is a pioneer in an emerging industry built on trust, credibility and captivating storytelling.


In 2008, after a career in traditional marketing and advertising, Josh decided to follow his passion and inspire people to see the possibilities right in front of them. From there, Josh began speaking to groups and organizations, which lead to his appearances in Business Times and on Daytime television.


To date, Josh has spoken to thousands of people at hundreds of events, including:

With a focus on online communications, Josh brings a different interpretation than what many others who preach the social media gospel. Josh feels that social media, although important, take a backseat to the larger impact of global communication. He maintains that we need to understand how to communicate our message effectively before registering for a Twitter account.
