George Fleming, M.A. is The Breakthrough Coach. As an executive coach, consultant and trainer, George helps leaders and organizational teams to experience breakthroughs in their leadership, teamwork and results. George helps clients to create paradigm shifts in their vision and their roles and helps them to illuminate those individual or organizational roadblocks that have been limiting their performance.
George's core competencies include his ability to coach clients to achieve tangible, measurable goals while experiencing profound personal shifts. While George is most often brought in to help clients improve performance and results, develop more effective leadership, improve relationships and elevate their communication and emotional intelligence and overcome individual and organizational barriers, the path he takes to achieve these goals is not typical. Clients achieve their goals through expanded awareness, shifts in unproductive patterns, identifying and overcoming their blind spots, and greatly expanding their sense of what's possible. George began his career in technical sales and marketing at General Electric followed by several years of helping Fortune 500 corporations, including Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies, American Express, and Amazon.com to define their product brands and help them to create their advertising and marketing strategies via three of the world's largest advertising agencies. He served as their strategic and creative partner by leading integrated marketing efforts that utilized competitive analysis, target research, audience segmentation, sales support, product positioning, branding, advertising, and direct marketing.
In 2000 George founded his consulting and coaching company, InsightAction. George's clients include Roche Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, CHRISTUS Health, RE/MAX, Square D and Volvo, helping them to accelerate their individual and team results and create strong cultures of leaders.
George earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with honors from North Carolina State University in 1987. He completed his professional coach training at Coaches Training Institute (accredited by the International Coach Federation) in San Rafael, CA. He then earned his Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in 2003.
