Inspiring compassion, inclusiveness, and joy world-wise by helping individuals understand and eliminate fear, self-doubt, guilt, and shame.

For three decades, Cheryl has challenged people's thinking about their work, their role in it, and what is truly possible for them. I do so because I want them to see the potential and opportunity I so clearly see for them. Most people limit what is possible with common, traditional thinking and outdated paradigms.

My goal is to help individuals see their self-imposted limitations and eliminate them or good. Because I recognize the possibility waiting for them, I push to rewire the outdated thinking of "we've always done it this way", and instead focus on redefining the purpose and stimulating the passion.

I earned my degree, and began my career in hospitality management. Thanks to my experience in that industry, I've learned plenty about working with and understanding various personalities and how to work collaboratively in teams.

As a life-long learner, I've continued to study in the areas of human connection and communication, emotional intelligence and motivation.

High level organizations such as the San Antonio Spurs, Wells Fargo Banks, and The City of San Antonio are drawn to work with me for several reasons. They appreciate my gentle straightforward and down to earth demeanor, my easy to apply techniques, and my outstandingly successful track record.

How did I get so good? For many years I trained and studied the nuances of human behavior and personal psychology in an effort to help improve how people relate with one another, especially at work. I've become an expert in recognizing, working with, and teaching the four communication styles of DiSC. I also have experitse in how-tos of developing a healthy and positive mindset. In fact, I wrote the book on it.

I recently published book, Emotional Self Mastery, The Best Book on Regaining Personal Power, Self-Confidence, and Peace. My book teaches the reader how to develop emotional intelligence, self control and balance. As a companion to the book, I published a 90-Day Journal to assist readers with identifying the circumstances that trigger negative emotions so they can resolve them quickly.

In addition to my on-going professional education, I've trained in several healing modalities. I typically use these unique techniques with her coaching clients, but have been known to use them with groups as well to transform outdated ways of thinking. These tools are powerful! They help my clients neutralize past emotional disappointments and traumas, and eliminate limiting belief patterns that have kept them from achieving their very best.

To engage audiences and get people motivated during I speeches and retreats, I use a unique presentation style - a facilitated-questioning process that challenges commonly held beliefs that may no longer serve the individual or the organization. Through my expert questioning skills, I can cut-through corporate nonsense to help individuals recognize and revise the assumptions running their lives (and businesses). From this vantage point each individual involved begins to recreate an 'aligned-experience' of work and life, instead of struggling, trapped within worn-out patterns that no longer work. This new perspective pushes the doors wide-open to make room for exciting new possibilities.

I am a Past President of the National Speakers Association (NSA) Austin Chapter. I am also a past president of the American for Talent Development (ATD), San Antonio Chapter.

Saving Susan. How to Keep Good Employees by Fostering Emotional Growth

Far too many of today's employees come to work stressed and pre-occupied with life's difficulties as they go through the motions of doing their work. Frankly, they are unconscious.
