"World's Greatest Athlete"

The Title "World's Greatest Athlete" has been the title generally given to the Olympic Decathlon Champion. Already the Silver medalist in 2004, Bryan Clay earned the title in 2005 as the World Champion and again in 2008 as the Olympic Champion in Beijing, China. There Bryan scored 8,791 points, just 235 less than the current world record. His talent is amazing and he plans on staying in the sport through the next Olympic Games in 2012, hoping to slash the current world record along the way. His best personal score is 8832, only 194 point short of the world record.

Every time Bryan steps in the stadium, the current World Record is in jeopardy. It is almost a certainty that sometime over the duration of the next four years that Bryan will demolish the World Record and bring the decathlon to a new level. His performance at the 2008 Olympic Games was especially spectacular considering the extreme conditions of rain and heat the competitors were put through.

Bryan's life as an adolescent wasn't always one aimed on a successful path. He was a bit of a rebellious teen and was often finding himself in trouble. Bryan credits two things with getting his life back on track: His success in sports that led him to college, and his belief and acceptance of the Christian faith.

He has established the Bryan Clay Foundation that maintains the motto: "Building Champions, Changing Lives". The mission of the foundation is to provide students in need support to pursue college. He is providing student athletes with academic and athletic scholarships and is providing high school physical education departments with equipment and improved facilities. His personal goal for his foundation is quite simple: To provide a platform for success to youths that therwise would not have the opportunity. Through his foundation Bryan is able to provide a number of free sports camps for kids in Hawaii as well.

Bryan has signed marketing agreements and sponsorship agreements with some tremendous organizations such as NIKE, Johnson & Johnson, Visa, Straub Hospitals, General Mills and appearing for companies such as Capital One. He has an international presence working with companies in the United States, Japan, China and around the world. He has many additional partners that he can represent with the integrity and intensity only a decathlete can bring.

Bryan is a very grounded person and a great public speaker and motivator. With his relaxed demeanor and eloquent style, he has spoken in front of groups both large and small, from corporate to personal settings. Whether it is a one-on-one interview for television to a motivational speech to thousands of corporation employees, or anything in between, Bryan has an inspiring message and motivational style.
