Jennifer is an Actress, Writer, Advocate for Women and Youth, Motivational Speaker, and Entrepreneur. As an actress she has been in For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, Come Early Morning, A Chorus Line, Issues: We All Have Them! just to name a few productions that have allowed her to raise awareness about social issues. She is an advocate for issues such as bullying, domestic violence and abstinence from pre-marital sex.
When she is not acting, she is mentoring, working on her books, writing plays and magazine articles, cooking new recipes, attending plays, or reading a book.
She is an award-nominated in the area business, girls mentor, artist entrepreneur, and community involvement with the Stiletto Woman in Business Award and C.E.O. Award. She has been in Purlie, A Chorus Line, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Wasn't Enuf, ISSUES: We All Have Them!, Come Early Morning with Ashley Judd, BET pilot The Yard among other productions. Beginning in June she'll be in A Cat on a Hot Tin Rooftop and Cheating on My Mistress.
She has been a promotional model and brand ambassador for Suave products and careerbuilder.com. She has modeled for Little Rock Full-Figured Fashion Week among other shows. She has is a former National Lecturer for Barbizon USA, LLC., an internationally-recognized modeling school that teach girls about modeling, etiquette, empowerment, communication skills, and more.
She has been a part of several national and community outreach initiatives including Breast Cancer Awareness Month "Pose for a Purpose", African Women's Health Project International, Inc., Godzgirl Network (TV Star Cee Cee Michaela), Daughters of Destiny, Inc., ABH Projects, Inc. Girl Talk, Pulaski County Juvenile Detention Center, YWCA Y-Teens program among others.
In 2007, she began Girls & Women Entertainment Network (formerly known as) Princesses of the Kingdom to reach out to teen girls and young women who have desires to go into the entertainment field. This is an outlet that she uses to lay a foundation of building self-esteem, awareness, etc. in young ladies so that they will not make unwise decisions as they pursue their career.
She combines her experience and training behavioral health, entertainment/media to teach people the psychology of building a better business. She went to University of Arkansas Little Rock to study Mass Communications/Theater. Jennifer is currently studying Life Coaching at Light University and Psychology at Liberty University. As an avid researcher and life-time learner, she plans to obtain her Masters and Ph. D. She is a proud member of WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network) and the HPN (Hollywood Prayer Network). She is Past President of the Arkansas Chapter Women-N-Power Youth Ministry.
