TRANSFORMATION: YOU ARE NOW BECOMING WHO YOU ARE GOING TO BECOME

Eldridge "El" John Broussard, III is one of today's most in-demand speakers. His message of "transformation" empowers business professionals and corporate clients to reach new levels of success, and inspires youth and at-risk families to make positive and lasting life changes.

Enthusiastic, genuine, innovative, and inspiring are the hallmarks of El's presentations. By drawing on his business acumen and personal life-changing experiences, El prompts audiences to go beyond the surface issues or challenges they may be facing and to dig deep in order to truly transform their situation.

El is the founder and CEO of Broussard Foundation, Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring youth and strengthening the family and community of those the company serves. His leadership helped transform the start-up non-profit from an unfunded idea to a successful organization that has helped hundreds of at-risk kids become responsible and productive citizens. His work has resulted in the creation of an "outside of the box," focused, collaborative organization designed to positively impact existing human service delivery systems.

But El's background goes beyond business success. He has also transformed his own life, going from a ward of the State of Oregon's Foster Care system, its juvenile justice system, and ultimately, the Oregon State Correctional System to becoming a respected community leader and business professional.

In 1987, El was one of 53 children in a commune removed from their parent's custody after the beating death of his younger sister. El firmly believes that there is direct correlation between his removal, subsequent and numerous foster care placements, the return to his parents without adequate family supports, and the downward trajectory his life took that resulted in him going to prison. It was the final phase of his adult incarceration that ultimately provided the soul searching reflection that began his transformational journey.

Today, El is a dynamic professional who is passionate about spreading his message of transformation. His goal is to help business and corporate clients use key transformative strategies to improve internal and external relations, build a productive team, and increase company profits. And because he knows that today's youth will be tomorrow's workforce, he works tirelessly to enable them to mitigate the barriers to success they may face and give them coping skills that will help them become business and community leaders of the future.

El believes in giving back to his community, and as such he has served on numerous boards, focus groups, and task forces. He also volunteers his time as a head coach for youth football and basketball, where he is able to teach young men about commitment, discipline, courage, teamwork, and other essential life skills. El's personal background, engaging style, and passionate commitment to his clients and audiences make him the authority on business and life transformation.
