"Thanks for attending and presenting at our staff meeting. It was very imformative and enjoyable. The RDEK, as an organization, has changed quite a bit in the past 5 years. We have added new positions, reorganized departments, and expanded responsibilities of existing positions. We are predicting that over the next couple of years we will be growing even more so one of our focuses is to improve our recruitment practices as well as to examine current employement policies to determine if there are things we can do differently so that we maintain our reputation of being a great place to work. The information you presented helped us to understand the values of the difference generations which is critical for successful recruitment and retention. The RDEK is a strong team now and, by paying attention to and implementing the suggestions given in your presentation we can only get stronger." Lee-Ann Crane | Chief Administrative Officer | Regional District of East Kootenay | Cranbrook, BC
