Debbie Wallace

Certified Wedding Specialist, Professional Event Designer/Trainer & Motivational Speaker

Debbie Wallace is no stranger to the Event Planning and Event Design industry. Growing up, the Industry of Event Planning called on her often to plan, decorate and direct fabulous occasions for her church, her community, high school, family and friends.   In 1992, Debbie officially became an entrepreneur by uniquely displaying her niche in "Setting the Mood" for all occasions for all her clients.  Till this day, Debbie's passion to creatively use her crafts is evident in the quality of service she gives to her clients and students.

Debbie's accomplished career combines over 20 years of experience and education which initially started as being self taught for about 6 years prior to her NYU certification as a wedding planner from Weddings Beautiful and Project Management and Special Events Management from NYU; followed by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a double concentration in Business Marketing/Administration and Event Management from Empire State College in Albany, NY.

Debbie was born to Jamaican immigrants and as a fortunate only child.  She grew up in the church, blessed with a strong family unit and always carried a demeanor of ambition and great enterprise.  It didn't change the fact that she also grew as a prisoner in the struggles of low self-esteem, depression, fear, failure and sometimes thoughts of suicide essentially caused by her lack of faith and belief in herself and her God.  As an adult still in prison, she suffered a great loss of her income, home, relationships and personal and business finances.

Debbie knew that she needed to be free and was desperate to find a way of escape.  That is when she started to write her thoughts down into a journal, which is soon to be the release of her autobiography, 'Climbing up the Rough Side'.  Repeatedly reviewing her manuscript, a light suddenly shined and caused her to realize that she was born with a purpose that is not defined by her circumstances.  She learned that her circumstances were there as a process to prepare her for the Greater that is later to come in her life.  She learned that those worst times of her life, are actually the best times.  The time she became free in her awareness of who she has been called to be.  The time she learned that raising up comes along with praising up in advance.  She learned that her purpose is to get the best out of others by giving the best of herself -HERstory of of the lessons of the life she lived.

Debbie began to realize her difficulties happened as tests to become testimonies that can and have helped others.  She often refers to herself as a work in progress and asks that you pardon her appearance as she is currently under re-construction.

Since overcoming the collapse of her personal and business life in finance, Debbie has discovered her new passions for motivational speaking, consulting and life coaching. Writing has also become yet another passion of hers as her journal is soon to be released as her autobiography, "Climbing up the Rough Side".  The book speaks of the ups and downs of her life and how the downs have strengthened her to achieve her goals on the other side of the Rough Side.

Debbie enjoys sharing her passions and experiences of writing, event planning, motivational speaking, consulting and life coaching with others, and looks forward to opportunities to do just that!
