AZ, USLes Taylor is a business owner, executive coach, award winning author and a professional speaker. In 2001 Les founded Achievement Solutions, LLC. A business consultancy helping organizational executives and senior managers improve performance and productivity. Les links visionary leadership principles, and performance management concepts with an organization's strategic planning process.
Prior to entering the private sector, Les enjoyed a twenty-six year career in law enforcement – which included twelve years in tactical operations. In 1993 Les retired as Assistant Chief of Police in Tempe, Arizona to serve as Executive Director of the Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police. In 1999 Les joined other Police Executives as part of an International Teaching Team presenting Ethical Leadership Principles to government and military leaders in Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America, the Caribbean and Canada. Today, Les coaches senior managers and "C" level executives in the field of performance management and leadership development.
Les is a graduate of Arizona State University and the FBI National Academy. Les is a member of the National Speakers Association – served as past president of the Arizona chapter of NSA. He is an award-winning author and writer in the field of performance management. He has written over ninety articles on performance management for ezinearticles.com, he also writes a weekly newsletter titled "Getting More With Les!" read by over a thousand subscribers.
