In 2006 Toby was named Harvard University Man of the Year -- but whether working alongside Ivy League professors such as Princeton's Cornell West, challenging the status of NFL player Assante Samuels or placing a dictionary and brand new clothing in the hands of a child with recording artist 50 Cent or the formers First Lady of The United States Of America, Glenn Toby does each with a style and grace that matches his humble upbringing. Homeless at the age of eight himself, Glenn Toby is determined to make a difference by sharing his time and lessons he has learned as a motivational speaker and guest lecturer for colleges, social institutions, associations and non profit organizations.

The Book Bank Foundation was founded in 1997 to provide educational tools, resources and social programs to inner city children and homeless assistance organizations. To date the foundation has serviced over 100,000 children nationwide. In addition, Glenn works relentlessly to collect and distribute new clothing, food and toys for the homeless. Glenn is currently writing his autobiography.
