A dynamic leader, author and speaker, Rob has held dozens of key positions throughout his career and practiced effective leadership and management in varied settings including over 20 years on active duty as a Marine, in both Not-For-Profit, For-Profit settings, the federal sector of the U.S. government and as a community volunteer.    

Rob is a native of Panama City, FL and earned his bachelors of science degree in organizational management and development from Bluefield College, VA.  He also holds a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.   Rob also completed the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.   

Rob is the founder and owner of The Collinsworth Leadership Group, LLC. He is an author, an experienced professional and a dynamic public speaker.  Rob is a member of the National Speakers Association and has presented to a wide range of audiences across the nation including The Project Management Institute, Washington, D.C. Chapter, The Performance Institute, Washington, D.C., Noblis and as a keynote speaker for the National Graduate School of Quality Management.

In his recently published book 'Leadership Locomotive; Get and Stay on Track Using Great Leadership', Rob has taken proven and effective leadership skills and approaches he has honed in his over 30 years of leading individuals and teams in varied organizational settings and placed those highly effective skills and approaches into a book for both aspiring and seasoned leaders. His book provides readers with an outstanding resource for tools you can use for present and future leadership challenges.  'Leadership Locomotive: Get and Stay on Track Using Great Leadership' is a wonderful tool for mentoring and facilitating discussions on cruicial leadership issues found in today's workplace.
