Aurelia Mitchell Durant is a talented and dynamic speaker born and raised on the east coast.  She has spent 10 years as an attorney specializing in legal assistance that leads to financial literacy and wellness.  As a successful entrepreneur, Aurelia founded a full-service entertainment company to provide assistance to musical artist, songwriters and record producers. She assists entertainers with copyrights, distribution agreements and other entertainment contracts. She has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit corporations both as general counsel and as a board member providing them with her expertise on business development and corporate governance procedures and policies.

Aurelia is penning her first fiction novel, called "Hood Embrace", a story of struggle, triumph and redemption.  She is also working on a futuristic screenplay about an African-American time traveler.

Aurelia is a gifted workshop presenter and has developed programs tailored for all ages about women, young girls and legal issues. She speaks regularly on financial literacy and law-related topics as well as human interest topics such as women in transition and self-esteem preservation. Aurelia's passion is in educating people about mental well-being and survival techniques for any economy.  Aurelia's message resonates with all people who have suffered gains or losses; triumphs or tragedies; victories or defeats, but still "scratchin' and survivin'"!
