Business women who believes in innovation not stagnation, and inspires others to consider being "PROZACTIVE" as a solution to our current economic climate.

Sue's is a born business-woman, beginning at age 7. Sue and her brother started a business selling lizards in lieu of the more traditional lemonade-stand industry for something they found much more exciting: capturing lizards and selling them to neighborhood children. Shortly thereafter, Sue learned the first of many business lessons: the lesson of supply and demand (There's not exactly a shortage of lizards in New Mexico!)

Years later, undaunted by the lizard lesson, Sue and two friends delved into the

booming 'fruit smoothie' business. 'Just Juices' closed shortly after whipping up its first delicious, healthy treat. An unreceptive market, a lack of clear vision and a team that wasn't especially passionate about juice--ended up being a recipe for failure. (This may just have been the beginning of Sue's cooking career!)

Next came the REAL million-dollar idea: the hand-painted T-shirt business, which evaporate almost as quickly as a fruit smoothie on a hot summer day.

Deciding to take a break from starting businesses, Sue took a position in the pharmaceutical business. Enjoying great success and controlling her territory with over 85% market share, Sue's passion for sales became even more evident. Healthcare marketing, sales and operations captured Sue's energy for the next decade before the start-up itch struck again: this time, in the form of a diagnostic business, designed to provide on-site ultrasounds to the elderly. Her experience in operations, sales and marketing gave her the insight and skill to begin a start up venture in 1992. Sue and a partner started East Coast Imaging, a 24-hour Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Business. Sue's success in the business environment and ultimate sale of her business in 1998 provided the springboard to pursue her ultimate dream of being a speaker.

But not your ordinary speaker, Sue's clients have tagged her as an 'innovational' speaker, and business consultant. A speaker that not only motivates, but provokes change, stimulates action by facing fears and settles for nothing.  Sue has a laser beam focus on developing real leaders and challenging CEO's to examine their businesses from a high altitude perspective. Success lies in the ability to anticipate the inevitable challenges, manage growth and understand what areas to focus on at what time.

Sue consults with all sectors of the business community in a variety of settings and her experience allows her to bring a high altitude perspective to any organization or industry.  She recognizes that communication, behavioral strengths, limitations and conflict are universal obstacles that affect even the best of organizations.  Sue has the unique ability to identify the roadblocks and work with the team or individual to develop successful strategies and tactics for a solution. Sue is unique - her humor, her direct style and her willingness to laugh at herself allow her to break through barriers to connect with her audience.

Sue and her husband are living their dream. So much so, that when asked, "where do you go on vacation," the response is, "we live in vacation land."  In 1996 Sue and her husband purchased land in Colorado with enough space for both sets of parents.  Fondly known as the family compound, everyone looks out for everyone and life couldn't be better. Sue lives her personal mission statement of "give more than you get every day" by giving to her family, volunteering and serving her community.

Other than her work-which she loves,  Sue spends her time with her husband skiing, hiking, biking, camping and hunting in the mountains of Colorado. She has 2 step-kids and 4 grand kids, all of whom make her life the best ever!
