The origin of her expertise:
Early in her coaching career, Donda witnessed others interpret their progress by focusing on the areas that were lacking versus the progress that had been accomplished. Confronted with a need to encourage others to remain engaged, she begin teaching the skill of acknowledging, validating and appreciating their progress. This technique was a consistent theme in thousands of successful coaching situations. By engrossing herself in the research available through Positive Psychology and developing and consistently applying specific techniques, she witnessed remarkable transformations.
She feels the following scriptures are motivation for her choices in both personal and business pursuits:
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Hebrews 10:24
Amazing Celebration"That's the name of the 26-foot sailboat that I bought when I beat Ovarian Cancer. Oh, you may enjoy knowing this. I don't know how to sail. Yet. Although, I did convince the local sailing club that having an extra adult attend the sailing class for kids would be a great idea. They agreed. I think the idea of being alone with kids actually scared them just a bit. After surviving cancer two times and being bald as a women, not much scares me.
