Introduction
Palan is a Malaysian educator and social entrepreneur. In his career, Palan, has consistently done the same thing - helping people learn and perform, in his various roles as a teacher, a HRD (human resources management and development) practitioner, an author, and as a social entrepreneur. He took his startup tech company public in 2006 and in 2015 took his other company in education public.
With multiple qualifications from several Universities (including two master's and two PhD's0, from four continents, including the Harvard Business School and the School of Education, Federation University, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, Palan has extensive experience in education. He has spoken to audiences in over 35 countries.
Palan also serves as the Pro Chancellor of the University of Cyberjaya. During the pandemic crisis, he served as Independent Member of the Emergency Committee advising the King of Malaysia on the Health Emergency.
He founded together with his family, the Palan Foundation to enable equitable access to education.
