"An entrepreneur, artist, life coach, and dreamer who believes that you should be enjoying your life mo(o)re every day.

I'm a mountain girl at heart. I love the peaks, but I know the value of the valleys. Originally from Asheville, NC, then growing up in the Roanoke Valley, I spent the majority of my childhood surrounded by mountains. I still love the way the valley gives you a vision of the mountain tops around you. It speaks to me of possibility and destinations. Just as much, I love being on the top! Is there anything equal to the view from the top? It makes the climb all the more precious.

I used to wonder what living at the beach would be like. So, I tried that during my graduate school days. Sunburns and humidity got the best of me. I now know, I'm destined for the hills! The air is cooler, and you can always find some shade. This is significant, because if there's one guiding principle in my life it's this: I want to enjoy life more. For me, that means being near the mountains. I've found that uncovering what you want is the secret to enjoying life more. And then from there, you have to be intentional about living it. This is true because most of life typically doesn't happen on purpose.

My professional life includes counseling for 20 years, and holding a national certification and professional licenses in two states for 14 years. During that time, I've also held leadership and management positions in several for-profit and non-profit, community-based organizations. But for the past 12 years, I've been a very satisfied entrepreneur-one of my dreams uncovered and fulfilled!

After years of helping hurting and broken people, I began to want to experience the joys of helping healthy people find their purpose, reach their goals, and achieve their dreams. As a spiritual person, I realize that a joyful life is as much a part of the plan as the pain. So, I've followed that desire and now I'm also a Certified Life Purpose Coach and speaker—another dream fulfilled.
